All schools in Daegu will postpone school openings as health authorities have predicted that the number of new coronavirus infections will continue to increase in Daegu for the time being.
On August 29, the Daegu Office of Education announced that it would delay the opening of 800 schools, elementary, middle, and high schools, scheduled for March 9, to be delayed to 23 days.
Among them, there are 341 kindergartens and 459 elementary, middle, high and special schools.
Earlier, the Daegu Office of Education announced that it would postpone the first week of school for the first time in the country as corona19 confirmers increased rapidly in Daegu.
However, when the health authorities predicted that the number of confirmed patients in Daegu would increase for the time being, the school delayed delaying the start of school.
